I don't know about you, but I was always taught that complete sentences and clarity of thought were the keys to success and recognition. Now, OMG, we barely need to speak anymore. I can send you half a sentence and expect that you understand it - and more than that - you expect ME to understand YOU!
Whether or not I do, (or care to try) - I am not the person who will be considering your application for employment, The person who reviews your resume might not have the time, energy or inclination to decipher your abbreviated messages in your accompanying email... and if they need to take the time to figure out what you are saying, they will not.
An email to your Career Services Counselor, your Professor, a potential Employer or Hiring Manager must have complete, carefully constructed sentences that make sense.
I am SMH and LOL with the TMI in the emails. FNO please do not get TCFC - (WCIS ?) - it's NSFW if you cannot get your point across clearly. So please, if you have questions about how to address an employer, HMU ASAP and I will BRB with the information. It is EZ to make a good impression and EZer to make a bad one - DTMS?
