It's Summer!

Stay focused.  Slacking off on your school work can easily happen.  It’s summer, the days are longer, great beach weather, there is just so much fun going on.  Keep your eye on the prize.  Plan for FUN and get your school work done.
Unemployed?  Work on your resume.  The job market is best after summer.  Don’t forget Career Services will assist you with your job search tools (resume, cover letter, thank you letter, and interviewing skills).
Mingle with professionals.  Look for professional networking events.  Networking is the best way to learn about different industries and possibly meet your future employer.
Motivate yourself.  What motivates you?  Money?  Success?  Your family?  Figure out what motivates you and use it to keep going and not give up.

Explore new avenues.  Opportunity does not always knock where you expect it.
Represent yourself in a professional manner.  It’s summer, it’s hot, don’t dress like it.
