Spelling Don’t Kount

OMG!  SMH…Do you think SDK?  How many text messages are you sending per day?  Better yet, how many text messages are you sending per hour or per minute?  Is texting a daily routine for you?  Every time you send a text message you are programming your brain to become lazy.  Not only are you decreasing your spelling knowledge, but you are also decreasing your grammatical knowledge.
SDKC - Spelling Does KCount and so does grammar.  Texting becomes a problem when you are unable to write grammatically correct sentences. Texting can prevent you from performing well in classes, landing the perfect career opportunity, or staying employed.  Do not hinder yourself by getting caught up in the texting realm.
I DARE YOU TO ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE? :  going forward, use whole words and complete sentences when you send text messages.
If you accept the challenge, you can thank me “L8r”.  =0)

  1. This blog is so true. There are friends who send me messages and I have to ask them what something means because I am not used to the texting language. I cannot lie I do use grammatically incorrect spelling like instead of writing "you" I simply just write "u". I will take on this challenge and write out each word I send and see how that effects the people I write to. It may get them to start writing without the slang.

Ha,ha,ha....I read this and just started laughing! I completely agree, I haven't a clue what people are talking about sometimes when they text me. When I respond, I type out the whole thing and I always get the same answer, "Why you take so long to answer?" People have forgotten that not everyone uses the first letter of every word to speak to people. :-)
